USK Jamik Mosque Charity House Distributes 120 Basic Food Packages to USK Students

Banda Aceh - The Jamik Mosque Charity House of Syiah Kuala University (USK) is again implementing the SIGRA Care program by distributing basic food aid to students living in the USK dormitory. This activity is a form of concern for the USK Jamik Mosque Charity House in the form of food package assistance in the form of rice, cooking oil, eggs, indomie so that they have enough food while studying. One of the recipients of this food aid, said that "We, KIP-K students, have been greatly helped by this food aid while waiting for our scholarships which have not been issued until now and the amount of scholarships is not enough for daily food."

Director of the USK Jamik Mosque Charity House. Tedy Kurniawan Bakri, M.Farm., Apt said "The SIGRA Caring Charity House Program is a social initiative that is routinely carried out by the USK Jamik Mosque Charity House. "In this SIGRA Care program, the USK Jamik Mosque Charity House provided assistance in the form of basic food packages to 120 KIP-K students who were in dire need."

In activities that took place on Wednesday (04/09/2023) and Friday (06/09/2023), the USK Jamik Mosque Charity House distributed 120 basic food packages. It is hoped that this basic food package can meet the daily needs of the beneficiaries, especially students who are currently studying and have difficulty paying for food.

The assistance provided through the SIGRA Care program has a significant positive impact on student beneficiaries. Apart from that, this program plays a role in strengthening the sense of solidarity among students and the campus community. With attention and assistance from the campus through the USK Jamik Mosque Charity House, students who are experiencing difficulties feel supported and do not feel alone in facing life's challenges.

It is hoped that the SIGRA Care Program can continue in a sustainable manner, providing assistance to more students and people in need, as well as being an inspiration for other communities in providing care and concern for others.
