USK Participates in Celebrating Muri's Record at the 2024 Eco Enzyme Festival

USK Ikut Meriahkan Rekor Muri di Festival Eco Enzyme 2024

Banda Aceh -- Syiah Kuala University (USK) together with 45 universities set a MURI Record with the title "Most Eco-Enzyme Liquid Pouring in Indonesia." USK poured this Eco-Enzyme liquid in the fish pond of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Banda Aceh, (17/08/2024) yesterday.

This activity is one of a series of "Eco-Enzyme Festival 2024" and is part of a series of national events which culminate on August 17, 2024, along with the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
 
USK Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti, M.Sc., IPU, expressed his gratitude to UI Green Metric for being willing to involve USK to take part in setting the MURI record.

USK welcomes this activity because this is a form of USK's support for efforts to save the environment. 
The Eco-Enzyme liquid that is poured is a product of the Greenmetric Division of the USK Environmental Research Centre, with the manufacture and application of environmentally friendly products such as eco-enzyme.

"Through this activity, USK shows its commitment to moving towards a campus with a sustainable environment," said Agussabti.

Therefore, he hopes that the USK academic community can utilise Eco-Enzyme for plant fertility, reduce water pollution, and together create a healthy living environment. Because this is very meaningful and also becomes a valuable legacy for future generations.

So far, USK has been a member of UIGWURN (UI Greenmetric World Ranking). 

GreenMetric World University Ranking is a university ranking based on the university's efforts to manage the university in a sustainable manner. Where 45 campuses are committed to utilising Eco Enzyme in the campus environment. [Sayed M. Husen]
